THE PROCESS - AUDITS

Step 1: Intros

Time to complete – 1 hour

This is the first step where you’ll fill out a brief survey that gives me a few insights into your business and the problems you’re facing. This is also where you’ll pay your retaining deposit.

Step 2: The Call

Time to complete – 1 hour

During our first call, we’ll go over your survey results and discuss goals for the project. I’ll ask a few follow-up questions and walk you through what to expect. Feel free to ask as many questions as you want! 

Step 3: The Recap

Time to complete – 15 minutes

You’ll receive a follow-up email with a link to your call recording, a summary of the call, and a link to pay your outstanding balance.  Please note that the audit will not begin until your balance is paid in full.

Step 4: The Work

Time to complete – 3 – 4 weeks

Now it’s time to dive in! During this stage, I’ll begin to access and analyze your analytics. Please note – this requires access to your backends in Google and social media/ad accounts.

Step 5: The Report

Time to complete – 15 minutes

Now the fun part happens! You’ll receive an in-depth report summarizing what I’ve found. Depending on the type of audit, I’ll show you where the opportunities lie to improve your marketing or sales funnel and include an actionable list of recommendations so you can hit the ground running.

Step 6: The Wrap Up

Time to complete – 1 hour

During our post-audit call, we’ll go over the report and review your next steps. Go into the nitty gritty as much as you like; this is the best time to pick my brain!

This is also the time to ensure we’re a good fit; if either of us feels we’re not a good match, this is the time we’ll decide…I want you to work with someone who is truly transformative, and if that’s not me, then I don’t want to waste your time.

Now let’s get to it! Going forward, you and I will check in once a month on calls and create tasks that help move you toward your goals. We’ll also do weekly check-ins via email to see how you’re progressing and if there’s additional support I can give. I’ll be available to you throughout your 3 months via email and text, so don’t worry if something comes up in between calls.

Audit FAQ

Why would I want an audit of my marketing strategy?

Have you ever looked back on a decision that went poorly and thought "Duh, I should've seen that coming?" What if we could stop you from having that hindsight cringe moment by finding the holes that are causing your business to lose revenue? An audit shows you the blind spots that are affecting your business and the simple fixes you can do to fix it ASAP.

How long do I get support?

During your calls, we'll go over any questions or concerns you have. From the first call to our follow up (~1 month), you'll also receive priority email support. If you need ongoing support, we can work together via my 3 month coaching program.

How long does a strategy audit take?

From the initial call to your final follow up takes about one month.

What sort of clients do you work with?

I typically work with entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least two years. My clients have run the gamut from service-based to CPG, both B2B and B2C.

How much data do you need to do an audit?

The best audits are able to utilize at least one year's worth of data. If you don't have that, though, it's okay! I can work with as little as three months, just be aware that it won't be as in-depth due to the lack of data.

What will you need access to?

I'll need access to the backend of your website, social media accounts, ad accounts (if relevant), and analytics. You can assign me a temporary login (I actually prefer this to getting your own login details!)

How long will I have access to my recordings?

You'll receive access to a dropbox folder that includes recordings of your calls and a copy of your report. This folder will remain active for six months and then will be archived after. However, you have the ability to download all files directly to your computer for unlimited use.

Do your coaching clients get audits done?

Coaching and audits are separate services. Many of my audit clients end up signing onto a coaching package to continue support.

Tell me about the retaining deposit

The retaining deposit (30%) is paid when completing your initial business survey and keeps your spot in my client load. If during the first call either of us feels this isn't a good fit, your deposit will be refunded, minus the cost of a strategy call (see services list for current pricing).

When are calls scheduled?

We'll work together to find a time that works for both of our schedules. Please note, though, that I work on EST and my day will typically end ~5pm EST.

What is your refund policy?

The time to decide whether or not to move forward is our first call. If you or I decide not to continue the audit, you will be refunded your deposit, less the cost of a strategy call. (See service list for current pricing) Because of the time it takes to work on your unique business, audit fees are non-refundable. Believe me, I want you to succeed, even if that's not with me - Do NOT move forward with the audit if you feel it's not right for your business!

What if I want to schedule an additional call?

Additional calls are billed a la carte. If you need a call between our first and follow-up, ask me for current pricing as these are given at a discount. Post-follow-up calls are billed at the current "Strategy Call" rate listed in the services list.

Do your coaching clients get audits done?

Coaching and audits are separate services. Many of my clients start with an audit and then move onto the coaching program for ongoing suppport.

What happens during a 3 month coaching program?

If I had to pick one word to describe it, it would be: ACTIONABLE. As your marketing coach, it's my goal to give you support and help you reach goals that truly transform your business. Every call includes a recap of where you've been, a dive into where you are, and a set of tasks to work for

I have issues that come up between calls, is it okay to reach out?

Absolutely! During our 3 month program you'll have priority email and text support. Reach out whenever you have an issue or just want to bounce an idea off of me. Additional 1:1 calls are billed a la carte.

During your 3-month program you'll receive 50% off a paid membership and any additional programs, products, or services on betterbizschool.com. After the coaching program ends, your pricing will return to its original tier(s).

Can I do longer than 3 months?

Definitely! I have many clients who renew their coaching programs at the end of 3 months. For repeat clients, I will often offer extended programs and pricing, though this varies on availability and client load.

When are coaching calls scheduled?

It's open to your schedule, but I operate on EST and will typically end my day ~5pm EST.

When is "Day 1" of coaching?

Day 1 is your first call with me. Your coaching program will end 90 days after that even if you don't immediately pay your remaining balance.

Can I get a refund?
