If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you’ve probably noticed my daily Stories that I’ve been chugging along through Russell Brunson’s latest book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, reading chunks and then working on the Secrets that will help increase not only my website traffic but my focus for this blog and my customers.
If you’re unfamiliar, Russell Brunson is a best-selling author. And in 2014 launched and became CEO of ClickFunnels, a $100m+ software company. He’s built a following of over a million entrepreneurs, sold thousands of books about how to utilize funnels for better sales methods. And is one of the most popular experts on sales funnels to date.
Finishing a 30 day Challenge with Russell Brunson and Traffic Secrets
Let me start with: this book is no joke. Yes, they’ve sponsored this post but let me tell you that if I had picked this up on my own, I would’ve found it to be as good if not better than most classes I’ve paid close to $1,000 to attend at blogger conferences. Russell could’ve charged hundreds for this info so it’s an incredible gift that he’s put it all into a single book and charges so little.
This book is for entrepreneurs who are ready to get serious about their businesses and can put the effort in to make it happen. The essential goal of utilizing the tools in the book is this: if you put the work in and complete a 30-day challenge, you’ll learn the key strategies you need to increase your site traffic. It’s incredibly rigorous and takes some hardcore brainstorming and researching. But in all honesty, I know it’s work that needs to be done to get serious about my business goals.
I had a lot of favorites with this book.
But when I say that, I mean “favorite” as in that one workout that just kicked your ass but makes you feel SO accomplished after. One example was coming up with my Dream 100. You can dive more into it if you pick up the book. But essentially, it involves hunkering down and finding all the little hidden spots your customers hang out online, including websites, blogs, forums, Facebook groups, which Instagram Influencers they follow, etc etc.
The most difficult part for me was figuring out websites, especially since “blogs” were a different category. So I had to really dig deep and think about where my ideal customer goes online that isn’t a blog.
But let me be clear, these exercises and the whole book are like a Masters class in developing a successful business. Russell takes you through the whole process of not only creating your avatar but finding out ways to hook them into your funnel (without being skeezy about it, which you know I love) and keep them coming back.
I challenge you to pick up Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers and make your own 30-day challenge out of it and see what results your business can generate!

I have been reading this book and I agree! It’s definitely worth well over $1000 if you apply its concepts and do the exercises. What a tremendous gift!
